Philosophy of care: Dr. Musa prides herself in taking care of her patients as a whole. She is happy to offer them minimally invasive surgery whenever possible and feels privileged to also be able to care for them though their chemotherapy, if indicated. She is committed to providing excellent care forher patients and being not only a surgeon, but an advocate, educator and long-term partner in their care.
As a co-leader of the research initiative in gyn-oncology at the Swedish Cancer Institute, Dr. Musa’s charge is to improve treatment options for gynecologic cancers. She considers herself an “out-of-the- box” thinker and is committed to offering innovative treatment options including clinical trials. She is also happy to collaborate with other physicians in order to facilitate treatment for patients who cannot get their infusions in Seattle.
